Courtney Charatsaris is a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Montclair State University having studied both theatre and psychology. Currently she is a graduate student there, pursuing a masters in Special Education, while working as a staff accountant for an international business, Spiral Binding Company, Inc. Courtney has competed in the Miss America Organization for several years now, and was 2nd Runner Up in June at Miss New Jersey. She also received a national scholarship from the Miss America Organization, the Eugenia Vellner Fischer Performing Arts Scholarship Award in 2011.
She spends a great deal of time on stage, and has been involved in theatre and many benefits throughout New York/New Jersey area. Courtney combines her love of performing with her passion for community service by holding an annual Cabaret for a Cure that benefits cancer charities and local cancer patients.
She is an avid volunteer for many established non-profits, and has even turned her MAO platform into one! She is the founder and President of her own 501(c)3 non-profit organization Care 4 a Cure, dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families with emotional, education, and financial support.
